The Songwriter Series is developed to have a very focussed, voluminous and inspiring sound to accompany a singer songwriter as well as any other guitar player. In order to achieve this we applied the special latex bracing. This bracing pattern is responsible for a well-defined tone with more punch than a guitar with a regular X-bracing.

To enhance this difference, we have new cosmetics with wooden bindings and bridge pins. A new rosette with abalone and wood and the absence of a pickguard.
The SWG-150-CE has a solid Sitka spruce top and rosewood sides and back. The rosewood give this guitar a powerful and sonorous sound. The Fishman Presys + amplification system ensures problem-free onstage performance with a lot of tone-shaping flexibility.

As all Richwood Master Series, the Songwriter Series displays an excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.
